If you have employees in Ontario, yes. The test is where your people work, not where the company is registered. A retailer from New York with 25 employees in Toronto submits the same report as a company from Toronto.

Full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees working in Ontario. Contractors, agency workers, and volunteers are not counted. If you are close to 20 or 50, count carefully: the thresholds change what you owe.

No, and no one can. The report is a self-certification signed by an executive of your organisation. We prepare every response and the documents behind it, and your officer submits them in a few minutes.

No. Ontario does not certify organisations, and no private company can issue a government certification. What we sign is a dated proof of a genuine test. Be cautious of any provider selling a certificate.

The Ontario Accessibility Directorate can inspect, issue orders, and impose administrative penalties. If convicted, a company could face fines of up to $100,000 for each day the offence continues, and directors or officers up to $50,000 per day.
