1 November. Sixty days to 31 December 2026 in Ontario — and in Europe the deadline passed sixteen months ago.

That is the part most exporting companies have not absorbed. The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. There is no countdown left there. Either your service meets it or it does not.

Three situations. One of them is yours.

A) You sell into Ontario, the EU and the UK from one website, and you assumed one accessibility document would satisfy all three.
B) You dealt with one of them — usually whichever regulator wrote first — and the other two are still open.
C) You are being asked for an accessibility statement by a buyer in a market you had not thought about yet.

Three countries means three different laws asking the same question in three different ways:

Toronto — AODA, O. Reg. 191/11. A compliance report filed in the provincial portal and certified by a senior officer. Deadline 31 December 2026.
Paris — European Accessibility Act, Directive 2019/882. In force since 28 June 2025, enforced by each member state separately.
London — WCAG 2.2 AA. No single filing date; it surfaces when a tender or a public-sector buyer asks for a conformance report and your bid stalls without one.

Here is the useful part: the testing is the same work. One manual test of the same site, against the same success criteria, produces the evidence for all three. What changes is who signs, because each jurisdiction wants a company established inside it. That is why one afternoon of testing becomes three signatures rather than three projects.

The inconvenient truth nobody selling this volunteers: in the EU, microenterprises providing services — under 10 people and under €2 million turnover — are outside the accessibility requirements of the Act. If that is you, buy nothing. Check your own numbers before you check your website.

Write A, B or C in the comments. I read every one and answer personally with which of the three actually applies to you, including when the answer is none of them.

Then send this to whoever handles your export markets. They are the one who finds out last.
